We’re thrilled to share our recent participation in the ASCM Louisville conference, held in the vibrant state of Kentucky from September 11 to 13. This international event brought together professionals and practitioners from various sectors of the supply chain management (SCM) industry, making it a remarkable gathering of over 3,000 attendees. For Zionex, this marked our third consecutive year attending, and this time, it felt even more exceptional.

The conference was a hub of knowledge exchange on pressing SCM topics, with a particular emphasis on themes like international disconnect, supply network risks, and the rapidly evolving digital supply chain landscape. What truly stood out at this event was the effortless and common use of SCM-related jargon in conversations. It made us realize how vital it is to stay at the forefront of this rapidly evolving field. The world of SCM is advancing, and we must keep pace to avoid the risk of isolation and turning into a ‘Galapagos’ entity in our ever-connected global landscape.

But it wasn’t all serious discussions; the evening reception brought an exciting change of pace. With the tunes of rock music filling the air, attendees let loose and celebrated their shared passion for SCM. The atmosphere was electric, and it was a great opportunity to unwind and network in a more informal setting.

Our participation in ASCM Louisville was a tremendous experience, one that reinforced our commitment to staying at the forefront of the supply chain industry’s dynamic landscape.
